Why a Black Box Isn't Enough
Drawing a black rectangle over text in most PDF editors only covers it. The words are still in the file, and anyone can copy them, search for them or remove the box.
Real redaction deletes the text itself. PDFezy deletes the text under each box from the new file, blanks the image pixels beneath it, removes links and comments that repeat the text, and clears document details that could still hold names or notes.
